Elevator Pitch

Many people in Trenton don’t have access to a car so they use a bicycle for transportation. However, information regarding biking events and routes in the city is often hard to find. Our goal is to make that information easy and convenient to find and use, while also highlighting local landmarks to encourage people from outside the city to come and enjoy a bike ride, hopefully stimulating the local economy and helping to remove the negative connotation often associated with the city.

Introduction: “Hello and thank you for taking the time to test our prototype for the T-Recs ROAR program.”

Test 1: “Please take a look at our poster advertising T-Recs ROAR and tell us the steps you would take to sign up for daily notifications.”

Test 2: “Please take a look at our poster advertising T-Recs ROAR and tell us the steps you would take to sign up for weekly notifications.”

Test 3: “Please take a look at our poster advertising T-Recs ROAR and tell us the steps that you would take to see where the location is today.”

Test 4: “Please look through the messages that you have received and tell us the steps you would take to receive the options for messages. Now tell us how you would stop receiving notifications.”

Improvements for Prototypes

  1. Make the flyer easier to read and what to do next.
  2. Make the number to text on the flyer bigger to draw more attention to it.
  3. List all of the text options on the flyer and on the first text message received.
  4. Delete the QR code – we aren’t using this anymore.
  5. When we send a notification of cancellation, give the next days event.
